Qubit Understanding 101
Quantum Computing uses a Qubit which is described as a bit (in today’s vernacular) that can represent multiple states (1 or 0) at the same time. Well, logically, there is an issue with representing both states at the same time. The obvious issue is that a Qubit (bit) offset in a yes, no question would mean there is no answer. The argument is that the state context needs to be applied and deduced from other computed logic points. The counter argument is that the state of a Qubit (bit) is based in quantum physics and behaves as if the universe only has one particle. Theoretically every single particle that will ever exist is identical to every like particle. That is enough of that. Do not believe that quantum is that wacky, SyFi, abstract, or dysfunctional uncle that we all know.
As this page is being typed the operational structure of every digital and quantum device is based on some combination of voltage/current(amperage) as we employ the power of electricity. In other words, we use voltage/current to power a digital device and we use voltage/current to produce logic within that device. The problems are created by enforcing functional measurements like voltage and current instead of the physical quantum properties of particles that create the energy being measured in digital systems. The argument is that by measuring the voltage and current of the actual energy the quantities of particles are known. This is both true and false because of a missing element in the operational method of devices which is that digital devices do not know what is being measured. Therefore, the “metadata”, regarding the electricity driving the logic is thrown out with the electricity and a bit state is all that remains.
This process, with these operational requirements, to produce one or trillions of logical outcomes is a monumental success. However, this is not a workable solution if humanity is going to continue down the super-highway of dependence, trust, and disclosure that currently abides.
